- MBTI Information: Your personality type determined through quizzes
- Level and XP: To track your progress in the app
- Updated at: Timestamp for syncing your data
- Conversations: Messages you exchange with AI in the application
- Preference Settings: Language, theme (light/dark) — we do not store response length or response style on our servers
- Device Information: Device type and operating system to help improve the app
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve our app services
- Save your conversations and preferences
- Personalize your app experience
- Enhance AI performance
- Communicate with you about the app (when necessary)
- Track your progress and update you on performance in any contests that Marhaba AI may host in the future
3. Data Storage and Security
- We use Firebase (Google service) to securely store your data
- Conversations and profile files are stored in Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage
- All data is encrypted in transit
- We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data
4. Purchases and Subscriptions (Google Play)
- Marhaba AI uses Google Play Billing to manage paid subscriptions
- The subscription is not shown during onboarding; it is offered when you need to use AI chat features (e.g. when opening or starting a chat). AI chat is activated after you subscribe
- Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Payments and card details are processed by Google Play. We do NOT store your full payment card information on our servers
- We only receive limited information from Google Play, such as subscription status (active/expired), plan type, and basic transaction metadata needed to enable or disable features inside the app
- If you do not have an active subscription, the ability to send new messages to the AI will be disabled, although you may still view past conversations or use other parts of the app
- You can manage or cancel your subscription by tapping the "Marhaba AI Subscription" button in the app's settings menu (which opens Google Play subscription management) or via your Google Play account settings. Payments are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): For storage and authentication
- OpenAI: For processing conversations using GPT-4 Turbo
- Google Play Billing: For managing in-app subscriptions and payments
These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data saved in the app
- Request deletion of your account and data (you can delete chats manually or contact us)
- Export your data (future feature)
- Opt out of certain information collection (note that this may affect app functionality)
7. Data Deletion
- You can delete individual conversations directly from the app

- We will delete your data within 30 days of your request
8. Children's Privacy
- The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13
- If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately

- We will notify you of any material changes through the app
- Your continued use of the app after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy
